Privacy Policy

Prova is a voice-based interview practice app. This policy explains what we collect, why, where it is stored, and how to get rid of it.

The short version

What we collect

Account

When you first open Prova, an anonymous account is created automatically. It has no name, no email, and no phone number — it exists only to keep your practice sessions attached to your device. If you later choose to link an email address (needed so your purchased credits survive reinstalling the app or changing phones), we store that email.

What you tell the interviewer

Before a session you fill in a short profile — things like your stated purpose of travel, how long you plan to stay, your occupation, and who is funding the trip. This is used to make the interview realistic and to let the interviewer notice contradictions. It is stored with your session.

Your voice and what you said

During a session, your answers are recorded and sent to our servers for transcription. The audio is not saved. Once the text comes back, the recording is discarded. What we keep is:

What we don't collect

No contacts, no location, no photos, no advertising identifiers, and no passport, visa, or application numbers. Please don't type or say real document numbers into Prova — it isn't a place for them.

Who else sees it

We use a small number of processors to make the app work. Each one receives only what it needs.

Service Receives Purpose
Google Cloud / Firebase Account, profile, transcripts, reports Hosting, database, authentication
Google Vertex AI Profile and transcripts for the session Generating questions and the report
Google Cloud Text-to-Speech The interviewer's question text Speaking the questions aloud
Deepgram Your recorded answer Converting speech to text

None of these are permitted to use your data to train their own models, and none of them receive your email address.

Where it is stored

Your account data, transcripts, and reports are stored in Google Cloud data centres in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany). Question and report generation runs in the Netherlands. Transcription is performed by Deepgram, which may process audio outside the EU; this is why the audio is transient and never retained.

How long we keep it

Sessions and reports are kept until you delete them, because the point of keeping them is to let you see whether you are improving. Delete your account and everything goes with it.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and Turkey's KVKK you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to erase it. Account deletion is available in the app and removes your profile, sessions, transcripts, and reports. For anything else, email support@provaapp.xyz and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

Prova is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has used the app, contact us and we will delete the account.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects you, we will say so in the app before the change takes effect. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
